The production and manufacture of roller in our country began in the middle of the 20th century. It was mainly based on the imitation of optical wheel and tire roller. In 1961, Xi'an Highway Traffic University and Xi'an Road Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. jointly developed a 3t self-propelled vibratory roller and became China's own development. The starting point for the design of vibratory compaction machinery; then, in 1964 Luoyang Construction Machinery Factory developed 4.5t vibratory roller, and in 1974 Luoyang Construction Machinery Factory and Changsha Construction Machinery Research Institute co-developed 10t tire roller and 14t tow vibratory roller, in 1975. Xuzhou Construction Machinery Factory copied the Japanese Sakai tire roller. In the mid-1980s, China began to introduce advanced vibratory roller technology from abroad. In 1984, Xuzhou Engineering Machinery Factory introduced the CA25 tire-driven vibratory roller and the CC21 II tandem vibratory roller technology from the Dynapac Corporation of Sweden. Luoyang, 1987 The construction machinery factory introduced the BW217D and BW217AD vibratory roller technology from Germany BMW Pavilion. In 1999, Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., on the basis of fully absorbing the advanced technology of domestic and foreign road rollers, developed the YZ series single-steel drum vibratory roller and YZC series dual-steel drum roller.
China's theoretical research on roller and product independent R&D started relatively late. There is a big gap between the overall technology status and the international advanced level. The main performance is that the product series is incomplete, the number and type of heavy-duty vibratory rollers are less, and the dedicated compaction equipment is lacking. The overall performance, economic indicators, and automatic control technologies are still relatively backward.
After the 1990s, with the development of China's basic industries, especially the introduction and localization of parts and components such as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, bearings for vibration wheels, and rubber shock absorbers, the overall technical level and reliability of vibratory rollers have been achieved. Sex has greatly improved; host manufacturers have also continuously digested and absorbed the introduction technology of vibratory rollers, and initially realized the expansion of product specifications; together with the research and development of domestic universities and research institutes, China has made its own research and development. The ability and level of vibratory rollers have been greatly improved.
